A 75-year-old woman experienced sore throat and difficulty breathing immediately after taking the drug. Chest computed tomography showed a foreign body in the right intermediate bronchus. Bronchoscopy showed a white mass blocking the right intermediate bronchus. Since the mass was very fragile, we performed suctioning while breaking up the mass with a suction tube. The mass consisted of polycarbophil calcium. Since aspirated polycarbophil calcium swells and can obstruct bronchi, complete removal is crucial.

?? 誤嚥の病歴が聴き取れなくても、呼吸器症状の原因として誤嚥は考えておかないといけない
? ← Even if a patient does not have a history of aspiration, the differential diagnosis of cough or dyspnea should include FB aspiration
? 誤嚥をみた場合、その基礎になる疾患を考えないといけない（まあ、当たり前ですが）
← patients with a decreased swallowing function often have an underlying risk factor, such as neuromuscular disease, head trauma, alcohol intoxication, or altered sensorium
・何はともあれ、薬剤の誤嚥って異物＋αの事を考えないといけませんね。
以下日記
・本日10/16（土）は6時21分起床。朝食摂って一服後配偶者をともなって猫を捕獲に行きました。ところが配偶者がいることで猫が警戒して近寄ってきませんでした。なので、捕獲の行動を起こす前からオペレーションは失敗。10時までゆっくりしました。その後川崎医療福祉大学へ。11月にある社会医学会のシンポジウムの打ち合わせです。1時間ちょっと打ち合わせして、その後アリオ倉敷へ。結構道が混んでいてたどり着くのに時間がかかりました。そこのフードコートでたこ焼き食べようと思ったら込んでいて20分待ち時間があるということで断念。先に買い物してセルフ饂飩屋さん（竹清）というところでぶっかけ肉なす饂飩。大きいなすが二個入っていておいしかった。お買い物は、来年の日記と手帳、モンベルのウインドブレーカーでした。15時に帰宅し一服後調べ物。17時から18時まで社会医学会の理事会（私は監事）。その後30分弱ウォーキング。そしてお風呂入って夕食。アルコールをいただきました。で、このブログを書いております。これからたまっている資料を眠くなるまで読んで寝ます。
